They are Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing (QC). When we discuss them separately, they already seem like stuff right out of a Sci-Fi movie, but when they come together, real magic happens. This piece will dive into the world where AI rides the wave of quantum computing and ponders on the depth and breadth of these waters.

Unraveling the Complexities: AI & Quantum Computing

Artificial Intelligence or AI refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to learn and mimic human actions, while Quantum Computing leverages quantum bits to perform computations that can be much more complex than classical computing.

AI: An Overview

Launched on the premise of creating machines that can think, learn, reason, perceive, and make choices, Artificial Intelligence was born in the mid-1950s. However, the mighty blossoming of AI was witnessed much later, around the 21st century, when the seeds sown years ago began to sprout. Today, AI is underlying various facets of our lives without us even realizing, from social media feed curation to autonomous driving.
